HAAM Day is more than a fundraiser! Now in its 19th year, HAAM Day is one of Austin’s most iconic celebrations of community and live music, raising awareness and critical funds for HAAM. HAAM Day 2024, powered by PNC and SXSW, will take place on Tuesday, September 24th and will be offering more than 250 FREE live music performances all over town.

Austinites can expect to hear tunes bouncing off the walls of their local bank lobbies, grocery stores, parks, restaurants, shops, and of course, live music venues. In addition to enjoying live music, we encourage our community to visit and patronize the hundreds of businesses that sponsor HAAM Day! Through your purchases and their pledge to donate a percentage of sales back to HAAM, you will be helping to keep music in Austin alive and well!

Meet the Official HAAM Day 2024 Artist

This year, HAAM has the honor of working with Austin-based artist and entrepreneur, Zuzu Perkal, to design the HAAM Day artwork!

Zuzu was voted Austin Chronicle’s “Best Muralist” for the past three years, with artwork posted around town on billboards, buildings, and brand partnerships with SXSW, Still Austin Whiskey, and many more Austin businesses. She's combined her passion of art, business, curation, and design to work with brands like American Express, Rolling Stone, Coca-Cola, Lexus, Neiman Marcus, and MLB.

Her large-scale mural work is recognized for its vibrant colors, abstract design, and positive messaging.

"Music and art are deeply intertwined, each supporting, energizing, and inspiring the other,” says Zuzu, “Music heals us from the inside out, and my art is intentionally designed to do the same. This year's HAAM Day artwork features a vibrant and funky color palette, reminding us to stay groovy and be happy. Like the artwork, life is abundant and blossoming all around us. Art and music enliven the spirit and culture of our city, and I'm honored to be part of this special project supporting our beloved local musicians."
