A stalwart fixture of the Austin Blues scene for some time, The Southsiders features singer Marcus 'T' Tharpe, from Memphis, TN. Marcus "T"'s dynamically powerful, yet soulfully sublime vocal delivery draws inspiration from the likes of  Bobby 'Blue' Bland, Junior Wells, Sam Cooke and Otis Redding, among others. The vocals are perfectly complimented by the guitar phrasing of Austin's own, Jeff Conti and his languid string-stretches and tasteful-trills. It’s all backed-up to the bone by the deft, deep-driving bottom tones of Indiana native and touring veteran, Eric Matthew Przygocki, who is equally adept at stand-up and electric bass.
