Jazz Guitarist/Composer Margaret Slovak has performed in NYC and throughout the US, Canada and Europe, and has played and/or recorded with Fred Hersch, Michael Formanek, Michael Sarin, Harvie S, Art Lande and Bob Moses. She also performs in cancer treatment centers, hospice and elder care centers. Margaret has released 4 CDs as a leader, including her recent trio CD, "Ballad for Brad," which was listed in Bill Milkowski’s “Top 100 Jazz Albums of 2022.” Margaret was nominated for an 2023 Austin Music Award for “Best Jazz.” Margaret is also included in Scott Yanow’s Book, The Great Jazz Guitarists.
