When Amanda Hickey moved to Austin she had one thing on her mind: be a part of the Austin music scene. (Lucky for us, Austin is a mecca for the weird, musically gifted masses.) Contrary to the tiny town in Nebraska where she was born and raised, Amanda says Austin opened up something inside her and gave her the "freedom to speak her mind and heart."
