Ray Benson’s Annual Birthday Bash Raises $340,000!

Ray Benson's Annual Birthday Bash was once again a can't miss night of incredible music and featured Ray being presented a Key to the City by Austin Mayor Kirk Watson!

Thank you to the over 1,600 attendees who helped us celebrate one of HAAM's founding board members - musicians, donors, staff, and volunteers - it wouldn't have been a true celebration without y'all!

Bidi Bidi Banda, Madam Radar, Shakey Graves, and Asleep at the Wheel (joined by special guests Jack Barksdale, Jack Harris, Kelly Willis, Brennan Leigh, Melissa Carper, Tami Neilson, Jimmie Vaughan, and Ruthie Foster) kept the evening swinging and rocking for a packed house.
Through the generosity of all of the attendees, sponsors, and donors, the night's event helped us raise $340,000 in support of keeping music in Austin alive and well! For more event pictures click here.

The live Silent Auction was a huge hit, featuring 37 once-in-a-lifetime experiences and packages, which brought in $54,000 of the $340,000 total raised in support of keeping music in Austin alive and well! These funds will directly help HAAM and its mission of providing access to affordable healthcare for Central Texas' working musicians.
