Ouro's Mag Stripes are Back for Their Sixth Year at HAAM's Corporate Battle of the Bands

Ouro’s Mag Stripes have rocked the stage at the HAAM Corporate Battle of the Bands from 2017 to 2023. Their electrifying performances earned them accolades, including Best Stage Performance in 2017, Fan Favorite in 2019, and the prestigious Song of the Year title in 2022 with their rendition of The Black Pumas’ “Colors”.

And the band is back for their sixth year with a soulful and powerpop nod to the 80s, 90s and into the new millennium!

The Mag Stripes, a band that embodies the diversity of the Ouro team, features talents from across the company: Chris Blackburn (keyboards and vocals), Mason Nelder (vocals), and Wade Weisser (drums) from Product; Mike Ruscio (bass guitar) from Finance; Ashley Spellings (vocals) from Customer Care; Olibeti Moultry (vocals) from Operations; Rudy Spencer (guitar) from the Project Management Office; and Daniel James (guitar and vocals) from Product Innovation.

The annual event gives professionals a once in a lifetime chance to unleash their inner rock star for a good cause. Competing bands rocked-out during 12 minute sets, working to impress a panel of celebrity and music industry judges who selected winners for four coveted awards.
