Meet the Bands: Noella Grey and The Imaginary Band, The Mag Stripes, The C Notes

Noella Grey and The Imaginary Band are an American Funk, Rock, and Soul band from Austin. The performers met at a local venue showcase after which they began collaborating on projects. In 2017, the pair decided to officially join together bringing collections of eclectic and edgy original works to their audiences. Their most recent album, ‘Solitude’ can be found on most digital music platforms and directly reflects their experiences over the last year. With influences spanning from Tina Turner, Alice Cooper and B.B. King, the group has composed a catalog as diverse as their backgrounds. Their unique brand of entertainment fusing glam rock, electric guitar solos and captivating choruses will make you want to dance in the moonlight.

The Mag Stripes (from Netspend)

The Mag Stripes combine the sensibilities of Al Green, Jimmy Cliff, Adele, and Nathaniel Rateliff with the corporate alchemy of Netspend’s Product, Banking, Customer Experience, Project Management, and Executive Administration teams. It’s the next chapter of musical exhibitions, the likes of which Austin has never seen before. In 2022, The Mag Stripes were co-winners of the Best Song award!

The C Notes (from PNC Bank)

PNC Bank’s "The C Notes" personify the bank's mission to revitalize the Live Music Capital of the World. The C Notes walk the talk. This band is comprised of the bank's local leadership team. Dillan Knudson, the Regional President, on the guitar, Steven Gonzalez, corporate banking leader, on the drums, and Stephen Jeffrey, long-time HAAM board member and private bank leader, on the bass. As the Official Bank of Austin City Limits, it is only fitting that The C Notes rock the ACL Live at the Moody Theater stage. In 2022, The C Notes took home the “Best Band” award!
