Our 19th HAAM Day is in the books! Last Tuesday was a celebration and reminder of how local live music makes Austin, AUSTIN! We owe a round of applause to our HAAM Day presenting sponsors, PNC and SXSW, and to the amazing staff, musicians, sponsors, community supporters, HAAM Day committee members, and volunteers that donated their time and talents to make this day possible. We celebrated everyone who helped us make HAAM Day a success with a very special HAAM Day After Party featuring a surprise performance by Hayes Carll! Over 300 local bands and musicians performed at venues, grocery stores, restaurants, and businesses for over 20 hours across Central Texas (Austin, Round Rock, Dripping Springs, Pfluggerville, Lockhart, Georgetown, Leander, and Spicewood), raising critical funds for HAAM's life saving services.

📍 We had 183 locations and sponsors featured on our new Interactive HAAM Day map! We can’t wait to bring this feature back next year!

🎤 We were excited to welcome all of the major local news stations on HAAM Day! We Are Austin, with Trevor Scott and Chelsea Hernandez, broadcasted their entire show LIVE at our HAAM Day Headquarters at the Lake Austin H-E-B! Throughout the show, they did live interviews with HAAM CEO, Paul Scott, and HAAM Board Chair, Nikelle Mead, HAAM COO, Rachel Blair, as well as HAAM Members Zack Morgan and Miggy Milla of Midnight Snack. They also featured HAAM Members, Kelsi Creek, Carolyn Trowbridge, and Nakia’s in-studio performances!

🌎 The message of HAAM Day was spread far and wide! We had nearly 125 individuals fundraising for HAAM Day and over 2,600 visits to the HAAM Day donate page on Tuesday! If you have not made your HAAM Day donation yet, you can still make a donation to help us reach our fundraising goal of $875,000!

HAAM Day, powered by PNC & SXSW, by the numbers:

SPONSORS generously provided more than $600,000 in support of HAAM Day. HAAM is able to leverage those sponsorships into more than $5 million in direct healthcare services
MUSICIANS contributed over 240 hours of music, which is $50,000+ worth of live performance donated to make HAAM Day fundraising dollars go farther
VOLUNTEERS gave over 275 hours of their time, and that valuable time is worth $10,000 in operational support to HAAM
Through the incredible support of donors & sponsors, we are currently at 95% of our $875,000 HAAM Day fundraising goal

HAAM Day After Party on the SXSW Rooftop with Hayes Carll, Jack Barksdale, Mike Meadows, and Rebecca Patek

This year we celebrated our super star HAAM Day fundraisers—those who raised $150 or more by midnight on HAAM Day—as well as our sponsors, musicians, and volunteers with an exclusive HAAM Day After Party at the SXSW Rooftop featuring Jake Barksdale, Mike Meadows, Rebecca Patek, and a surprise performance from Grammy-nominated Texas star Hayes Carll!
