Cirrus Logic's Band – The Haptics – Are Back to Defend Their Fan Favorite Title at HAAM's 2024 Corporate Battle of the Bands!

Their all-employee band - The Haptics – are back to defend their Fan Favorite title and rock the Moody Theater stage on June 5.

While several band members are CBOB veterans - Andy Rumelt (keys, harmonica, vocals), Jonathan Ruiz (bass), Matthew Beardsworth (guitar, vocals), Zak Kaye (guitar), and Ryan Lobo (drums) - this year, they’ve added two incredible vocalists to elevate their sound - Bret Britton and Michael Ovassapian!

The Haptics have spent many weeks in the Cirrus Logic jam room perfecting their harmonies and planning a set list that showcases each member’s unique abilities. Their classic riffs will evoke a feeling of nostalgia, while Michael and Bret’s impressive vocal range send their songs soaring. They can’t wait to perform for the fans of HAAM and help raise money for such an incredible organization.

The annual event gives professionals a once in a lifetime chance to unleash their inner rock star for a good cause. Austin-based businesses pulled their talented employees together and showcase their unsung talents. Competing bands rocked-out during 12 minute sets, working to impress a panel of celebrity and music industry judges who selected winners for four coveted awards.
