Facilitated by Dr. Aaron Rochlen, a Professor, Psychologist, & music guy, each concert features lyrical discussions and ideas for how audience member can learn, reflect, and relate from the listening experience. An award-winning presenter, “Doc Rock” frequently uses music in his courses & clinical work.

Ruby Dice is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist gaining recognition for her electrifying, genre-blending sound. Her music fuses elements of country, soul, blues, and pop into a style that's uniquely her own. While she often performs in packed two-stepping honky-tonks, her lyrics are ripe for discussion, deep & full of vulnerability, local color, and layered storytelling. This compelling mix of rhythm and reflection makes her a perfect fit for Under The Rock. She’ll be joined for a special guest, Greyson Turner.

Now & Then: A C4AC Event Series

C4AC proudly presents Now and Then. A new musical series connecting Austin's legendary musical past with talented musicians of today.

Gregg Rolie, is a two time member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and co-founder/original lead vocalist of both Santana and Journey. After leaving Journey, Gregg toured extensively with Ringo Starr and his All-Star Band. Gregg will discuss his stories career and play some his hits.

Austin Band of the Year for 2023, Madam Radar, will then spend an hour playing selections from their new album Motel and will jam with Gregg to close out the show.

Join us for a unique and entertaining afternoon at the the beautiful new Austin PBS Studio.

Pickleball Fundraiser

It's that time of year again! Join us at Urban Pickleball Club in downtown Austin Saturday July 26, 7-10 for our second HAAM Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser. The grand prize is a $200 gift card and skip the line pass for the winning team and their friends at one of Austin's hottest bars, Latchkey. Second place team gets a free hour lesson with PPR Certified Pro Bryant Salcedo @pickleballbryant, and third place gets $100 sponsored by Anna Taylor @pickleballtx.

We also have some great gifts including free yoga passes from Yoga East Austin, coffee gift cards from Take Care Coffee, supplement packs from 5 Star Nutrition, flowers donated by Lillianna Vines, and gift bags from Crush Pickleball.

There will also be live music by Deuce Bennett Trio. You won't want to miss this event!

Pride Health Fair @ the Long Center's Drop-In

The Long Center's free outdoor concert series returns on May 22! Every Thursday through August 14, LC will provide the tunes and the view if you bring the energy. With 23 bands and plenty of opportunity to let loose, it’s time to shake off your blankets and lawn chairs, double-check you have all the Drop-In info you need, and prepare to vibe on our 3D-printed stage all summer long. There will be food trucks and a full bar at each event.  No outside food or drink is allowed (with the exception of 1 sealed water bottle). Below are general guidelines for attendees:

      • This is an outdoor event.

      • Doors open at 7 PM // Show starts at 8pm

      • Spots on the lawn are first come, first served.  While chairs are not provided, blankets and lawn chairs are welcome.

      • Leashed pets are welcome

      • Re-entry is permitted

      • Prohibited items include but are not limited to: Outside food or drinks, weapons of any kind including pocket knives, Professional cameras (cameras with detachable lenses), Video cameras, illegal or illicit items of any kind, tents, vending of any kind and soliciting of any kind.

The 2025 Corporate Battle of the Bands presented by Cirrus Logic, returns to the famed ACL Live Stage at the Moody Theater on Wed, June 4th.

The annual event gives professionals a once in a lifetime chance to unleash their inner rock star and perform on the ACL Live at the Moody Theater stage for a good cause. Austin-based businesses pull together employees and showcase their unsung talents. Competing bands rock-out for 12 minute sets, working to impress a panel of celebrity and music industry judges who select winners for coveted awards and prizes.

Renegade Revival Music Fest

The Renegade Revival Music Fest features a variety of musicians from across Central Texas, bringing them together for one special event right here in the heart of Georgetown, Texas. A little bit of country, and a little bit of rock 'n roll, the fest features Kate Heron, Gilded Lows, Walkabouts, and headliner, Jack Barksdale. It's the first of its kind in Georgetown, but hopes to be a staple on the square as an annual event.

Katrina’s songs explore themes of love, longing, and self-discovery — all a perfect fit for our show. Her deeply personal storytelling and captivating melodies will leave you spellbound

.Greyson Turner is an “Under Up and Comer” with a powerful voice and diverse range of musical influences. Known for his soulful melodies, dynamic stage presence, and memorable highly reflective and relatable lyrics. While in his 20s, he already has an impressive list of professional experiences that have helped him carve out a unique niche and identity in the industry. He was recently compared (by Under Host, Rochlen) to ““Adam Duritz (Counting Crows) meets Shane Smith.”

Jimmie Dale Gilmore Marks It 80

“Jimmie Dale Gilmore Marks It 80” will feature the West Texas Exiles with special guests Jo Harvey Allen, Terry Allen, Dave Alvin, John Doe, Rosie Flores, Butch Hancock, Bill Kirchen, Carrie Rodriguez, Bonnie Whitmore, Kelly Willis and more.

Proceeds will go to HAAM and the Sims Foundation.

Jimmie Dale Gilmore has been writing songs and playing music for more than half a century. Born in Amarillo, and raised in Lubbock, GIlmore makes music that springs from West Texas dusty high plains, blending elements of folk, rock, country, blues and bluegrass. His recordings have earned three Grammy nominations in both Contemporary Folk and Traditional Folk and he was named Country Artist of the Year three years running by Rolling Stone Magazine. Along with longtime compadres Joe Ely and Butch Hancock, Gilmore’s legendary band The Flatlanders has been credited as “Fathers of the Alt-Country” movement. Gilmore’s most recent collaborations have been with former Blaster, Dave Alvin. In 2024, they released their second album, TexiCali, a followup to their debut collaboration Downey to Lubbock.

Carl Perkins Birthday Bash

South by Southwest 1997 keynote speaker Carl Perkins repeated the term (“What’s a keynote? I’m no keynote”) to a hushed ballroom, completely unfamiliar with it. Afterward, in some small room at the Convention Center, a clutch of media enjoyed private audience with the rockabilly pioneer (1932–1998), who indeed loomed larger than life: his hands, voice, toupee. Guitarist, bandleader, and amp tech Jeremy Slemenda and his Jerrells gather a first annual twang-off for the Tennessean, benefiting homegrown health care provider for musicians HAAM and commingling ATX genre notables including Rosie Flores, Heather Rae Johnson, Jake Penrod, Phil Hollie, Johnny McGowan, Red Roddy, Guitar Grady, Spud Sims, Marti Brom, Mandy Marie Luke and Bradley Thomas.

Proceeds from the show, and from poster sales will benefit HAAM.
