ABOUT

HAAM Benefit Day brings all of Austin together each year to sing praise for keeping our musicians alive and well. Austin businesses and music venues host over 200 performances from local musicians all over the city and donate a portion of their daily sales to support HAAM. Our biggest fundraiser, HAAM Benefit Day lets customers, businesses and music lovers across Austin do their part to help Austin musicians and feel the satisfaction of contributing to an important piece of the fabric of the city.

2017 HAAM Benefit Day Guide

SXSW Presents She Sir at the ABGB

"She Sir is devoted to the cult of the song, fervently, almost spiritually, calibrating and exploring tones, drum patterns and complex academic harmonies in order to perfectly realize their psychedelic mini-suites. This band, like their hero Brian Wilson, exudes the prodigal coolness of a visionary lost in a room full of instruments, in search of some greater truth." - Edward Charlton, Clicky Clicky Music

Dickie Lee Erwin at the Skylark Lounge

Dickie Lee’s birthplace, Hobbs, New Mexico, is in a part of West Texas and Eastern New Mexico that is fertile ground for producing musicians. Several small towns and cities within a hundred miles of Hobbs are the birthplaces of many famous names in the music business, including Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, Waylon Jennings, Mac Davis, Gary P. Nunn, Sonny Throckmorton and the legendary Norman Petty Studio That proximity is incidental, but nonetheless, Dickie Lee’s roots are authentic.
