This month HAAM welcomes Chris Adams as Chairman of the Board! Chris, a Tax Partner at Maxwell Locke & Ritter, has served on the HAAM Board since 2009. Chris has tremendous experience both as an accountant and as a civic leader serving on boards including the Austin Film Society, Hearts of Austin, St. Edward’s School of Management and Business and more! We are thrilled and honored that Chris will lead our organization in the coming years!

Cirrus Logic and H-E-B present the sixth annual Corporate Battle of
the Bands event at Antone’s on Friday, April 26. Mark your calendar
for one of the most fun evenings of the year! Eight bands made up of
business professionals who play music as a hobby will perform in
front of celebrity judges and compete to be named Austin’s Best
Corporate Band! Soul Track Mind headlines this year’s show with a CD

HAAM AUCTIONS PATTY GRIFFIN + HER DRIVER POSTER
December 16 was a magical night at The Continental Club! Patty
Griffin & Her Driver performed in front of a sold-out crowd all to
benefit HAAM! Many thanks to Patty Griffin, Robert Plant, Dony Wynn, David Pulkingham and Glenn Fukanaga for donating your talent! Thank you also to Steve, Dianne, Celeste and The Continental Club team for your support! Mishka Westell designed a concert poster to celebrate the evening and HAAM is auctioning – one autographed by the band through eBay. Bid on this unique collector’s item today and support HAAM! Driskill – The HAAM Sessions featuring Tje Austin and special guests. In addition to over four hours of live music, 35% of the proceeds from a rotating selection of menu items will be donated to HAAM. There is no cover charge to attend.

Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) provides access to affordable health care to Austin’s low-income, uninsured working musicians with a focus on prevention and wellness.
