Corporate Battle of the Bands presented by  HEB and Cirrus Logic
moves to ACL-Live!

Sponsors Intel, Seton, Wenzel Spine, and HomeAway return to battle
for the title of best corporate band in Austin!$15 gets you in the door for a night of fun music, celebrity judges, a great silent auction – and all proceeds benefit HAAM!

If you’ve always dreamed of playing on the ACL-Live stage now is your
chance! For the first year ever, companies can sponsor a Play in spot
– bands will get a custom page on HAAM’s website to help play their
way in. For information on participating or sponsorship

Mark your calendars now for a fun, music filled evening in support of
Health Alliance for Austin Musicians.

Amplify Austin 2014!

On March 20 Amplify Austin returns for 24 hours of giving to support
local Austin non-profits including HAAM.

Last year the community smashed through the goal of raising $2
million dollars in 24 yours. This year the bar has been raised.
Support HAAM during Amplify Austin and help the community raise $4
million dollars to support local non-profits.
What can you do to support  HAAM during Amplify Austin?

The St. David’s Foundation will match $.50 for every dollar HAAM
raises during Amplify Austin and there are may ways you can get

Spread the word to others: Let people know you support HAAM. Social media, email and word of mouth will all help engage new donors in keeping Austin music alive and well.

Create a fundraising page: By becoming a fundraiser you can set a
specific goal to help raise money for HAAM.

Donate: Mark your calendars for March 20 and give starting at 6pm for
it to be counted towards HAAM’s Amplify Austin goal. Worried you’ll
forget? No problem, you can schedule a donation now for March 20th right on HAAM’s Amplify page -www.amplifyatx.ilivehereigivehere.org/haam/overview.

SXSW Returns ’14 offers some great showcases supporting HAAM!

South by Southwest returns to Austin for it’s annual showcase of
great films, wonderful interactive and educational panels, and of
course MUSIC!

Waterloo Records, March 12-15, Noon to 7pm, 600A N Lamar Blvd

Four days of amazing music at Waterloo Records. Great music from Wild Child, Talib Kweli w/ Res, Jake Bugg, and many many more take the solar powered stage at Waterloo.

The Austin Music Awards
Celebrating 32 years of Austin music, The Austin Chronicle will
present the annual Austin Music awards with performances form Minor
Mishap Marching Band, Youngbloods Choir, Church on Monday with
special guest Ray Benson, Lucinda Williams and the Texas Toranados.

A special thank you to Margaret Moser for all she has done for the
music awards and the Austin music community. This will be Margaret’s
final year with the Austin Music Awards and we know it will be a
special one – thank you Margaret for all you do!

Tribeza Music Series, March 13, and 20th
Tribeza magazine celebrates Austin’s hottest music month with three
great shows  that benefit HAAM.  – tickets available at

Uncle Doug’s Chili Dog Fest V, March 16
For the 5th year Uncle Doug has a great line up of music kicking off
