The 9th Annual HAAM Benefit Day returns on Tuesday, September 23.

Presented by  Whole Foods Market, HAAM Benefit Day takes place on
Tuesday, September 23. HAAM Benefit Day is a uniquely Austin event
where businesses donate 5% of the day’s proceeds to HAAM in support
of musicians’ health. Local musicians perform throughout the day at
supporting businesses. The event runs from 6am to well past midnight
and community members are invited to shop, eat out, listen to great
live music and enjoy!

HAAM Board Member and Frost Bank Executive Vice President Keith
Donahoe returns as the Chair for this year’s event. Keith helped make
last year’s HAAM Benefit Day record breaking and we could not be more
excited to have him back at the helm.

ALL ATX 2: Austin Does the British Invasion Concert to kick off HAAM
Benefit Day 2014 at ACL Live at the Moody  Theater Monday Sept. 22nd,
7:00-9:30 PM. Last year’s concert was a night to remember as Austin
greats played to a full house in support of HAAM.

This year’s show will again feature some of Austin’s  finest
musicians such as Alejandro Escovedo, Bruce Robison and Kelly
Willis, The Black Angels, Bob Schneider, Ian McLagen, Shinyribs and
many others. Also, be on the lookout for a soon to be announced
legendary English musician who is headlining the concert this year.
Hint: one of his many hits was the first song that many aspiring
musicians learned.

Tickets will go on sale in late July so make sure to check the ACL
Live calendar!

HAAMs 2014 Corporate Battle of the Bands at ACL Live was a
record-breaking night for HAAM raising more than $100,000 to support
keeping Austin music alive and well!

The annual competition featured local music-loving companies H-E
B,Cirrus Logic,HomeAway, Do512,Drillinginfo,Seton Healthcare
Family,CLEAResult, and Wenzel Spine who packed the house to support
HAAM. Employee bands from each company took to the ACL Live stage and
put on an amazing show for the event’s biggest crowd ever.

Celebrity judges Nakia, Patricia Vonne and Olga Campos helped crown
the winners.

Special thank you to our amazing committee – Chair Stephen Jeffrey,

their hard work and dedication this special night could not have
taken place.

All the proceeds from Corporate Battle of the Bands will help HAAM
provide access to affordable healthcare for low-income, uninsured
Austin musicians. Thank you to everyone involved for helping make

Amy Barton has come to exemplify what it means to be a HAAMbassador.
She consistently gives her time and energy as a volunteer and leader
to support the special events and programs that help keep Austin
music alive and well.

Over the last two years Amy has headed up Good Egg’s and HAAM (a
group of young professionals who love and support live music and
HAAM), chaired the 2nd annual HAAM-O-Ween concert at Antone’s, and
served as our night-of volunteer coordinator for 2014’s Corporate
Battle of the Bands.

Amy always has a smile on her face at every HAAM event and a can do,
get it done attitude. Her support has made so many events successful
for HAAM and we truly cannot thank her enough. THANK YOU AMY! You are
a HAAM rock star.
